Free online map tools

MapGO is a browser-based mapping toolkit. Measure distances and areas, draw and annotate, build buffer zones, convert GPS coordinates and GIS files, plot a coordinate someone sent you, and look up what country, region or district any point falls in — without installing desktop GIS software.

You can also bring your own data. Open a GeoJSON, KML or GPX file on the map, read and correct the attributes behind it, and find out which of your own zones each of your points sits inside.

Every tool below runs in the browser and is free to try without an account. They all share the same map workspace, so you can measure a route, buffer it, drop your own data on top and export the result in one sitting.
