Addresses, and MapGO inside your AI assistant

Two big additions. MapGO now works with addresses, not just coordinates — look one up, turn a point back into an address, or tidy a messy address into the way its own country writes it. And MapGO can now be connected straight to Claude or another AI assistant, so you can ask for a border distance or a location breakdown in plain language and get a real measurement back.

Tag your points by zone

Bring your own zones — sales territories, delivery areas, catchments, anything you can draw or export — and find out which of your points sit inside each one. Try it on the map for a quick answer, or upload a spreadsheet of up to 100,000 rows and get back a tagged file, a count for every zone, and a separate CSV per zone.

• +The Workspace on your phone — the whole map editor, rebuilt for a small screen. Tool panels slide up from the bottom and drag back down when you want the map, the menu lives in a drawer, and every button is sized for a thumb instead of a mouse pointer.
• +Drop a point by lining up the crosshair and tapping — no pixel-hunting
• +Drawing snaps more generously on touch, so shapes join up first time
• +Image exports and map uploads now size themselves to your device, and warn you before a heavy one
• +File conversions and your account menu got the same small-screen treatment
• +Attribute table — drop a GeoJSON, KML or GPX file on the map and see every feature and column just as the file has them. Search the rows, correct the values, save, and download the file back out — no desktop GIS to install.

Games, saved maps, and a secret project

MapGO Games arrived — quick geography puzzles you can play in the browser. Saved maps got clearer storage limits so you always know where you stand.

The Workspace

The biggest release so far: a full map editor in your browser. Draw shapes, add your own files as layers, build buffer zones and heatmaps, then save the whole map and come back to it later.

Accounts moved to a faster, more reliable sign-in provider. Signing up and logging back in is quicker and steadier.

Guides and worked examples for the geospatial problems people actually bring to MapGO.

Polish and security

Tool panels became genuinely usable on a phone, notifications tell you when a big job finishes, and the site was hardened against common web attacks.
